Tested the new patch. Played about 5 games so far. First impression: blown away. It's Magnificent!
Background: My friends and I are still using remix 1.8 for our tournaments. Versions 1.9 and 2.0 were very good, but we absolutely love the individuality that 1.8 offered.
However, I think 2.1 (the new version) is probably better. Absolutely love it nesa. It seems as though you were able to keep the individuality of 1.8 yet improve the AI defence positioning and GKs. The variance in attack is also still present. At times, the play is wide-open with one-on-ones, and at other times the defence is tight. Lots of variance in attack. It's a beautiful balance.

Just finished playing a few games in the Master League and i have to say so far i'm amazed just how far this patch has come!!! I've always preferred a slow game with slow build ups and i finally have it. The battles in defence and midfield are so enjoyable and so random.
For the last couple of years this game has been "predictable", you almost always knew when the CPU would score. Some how you have taken this out of the game! I can now force errors on my opponents like rash clearences and dodgy back passes, Absolutely brilliant. I can finally put my foot on the ball without being surrounded by 2 or 3 opponents,The CPU doesn't constantly stick 10 men behind the ball anymore and i can pick out some amazing through passes.
The goalkeepers have improved but are still prone to some errors which is just how it should be, shooting seems to be spot on, even the referees seem to let those niggly fouls go ( or am i only imagining that myself?) So far i haven't seen any bugs and the animation is smooth, i think i'm playing PES 6 all over again!!!
I will be amazed if you can improve on this it is almost perfect. Hats off to the amazing work of Nesa/Yair/ Methab and anyone else who contributed to this wonderful piece of work. Finely tuned, finely balanced and finely executed. I thank you.
Just played a couple of games with the new patch and what can I say other than YES YES YES!!!! At last the game is playable. You now have time on the ball, you can actually get in behind the CPU's defence and it doesnt feel scripted. 11/10 for me!

Purefootball is really pure
Played 30 min match and it ended 1-1 what a match 
Great patch nesa and nice enhancement with that graphic patch.
The patch is balanced, human-like and fun.
At first it felt a bit slow on gamespeed -1, so I play on 0 now and it feels great.
The CPU can be tough, but I also had walkovers victories vs the weaker teams. I can't predict these matches anymore.
Yesterday I had a match against a weaker team and they surprised me with hard pressure football and they scored 2 goals in the first 15 minutes.
In 2th half, I stayed calm and changed tactics. I played possession football without taking risks for about 15min and let the midfielders run after the ball.
Playing cat and mouse to exhaust them.
I knew I was better and they couldn't keep up that pace for the whole 90 min, they gave too much in 1th half.
The tactic worked ) After 70min they began to make more and more small mistakes, when I scored the first goal there was a mentality drop and at the end I won the match with 4-2.
Better or equal teams don't have that mentality drop, so you have to be focussed the whole 90+ minutes.
Really anything can happen with this patch.
I also love the human-like behavior, reaction to the loose ball is perfectly balanced now and sometimes they make mistakes.
For example, they are vulnerable when you appraoch them via their blind side. They don't have eyes on their backs.The AI doesn't have a sixth sense to avoid sliding tackles.
One thing I'v noticed... I don't score many headergoals with this patch (also corners). I was never good with headers anyway, so it might be me. But I didn't see many headergoals for the AI aswell.
Keepers are exellent, not only in catching balls, parrying or in 1on1's, but also in reaction. He wont go for after a shot that goes wide, but when that same shot deflects on a teammate, he will do everything he can to get the ball to avoid a corner. I saw brilliant double saves on reboundshots, crazy foot charges, I think I can make a great compilationvideo with only keeper saves. You can trust your goalkeeper.
Thing is, when I play a match I don' watch at the stadium clock. I think that good proof that I'm enjoying it.
Finally a patch were the loose balls and reactions are 50/50 and not in favour of the CPU. Also midfield battles are back. Hvala!

I forgot to mention this, player/CPU reaction is super in this patch and it creates realistic scrambles and duels.
Gave this patch a try in ML and it was good enough to keep me playing for an hour or so. I have to say I'm quite satisfied with the AI. One time I was beating Newcastle 3-0 and they come back in the second half to make it 3-3. Normally this would be done by muscling through my defense with crazy dribbles and super goals but with this patch the goals seemed well deserved. I also like how they pass back occasionally to build play. Also switch to other flank, which catches me by surprise because I never expect that from the AI. You can still tell it's a team controlled by the AI because there isn't nearly as much creativity as human players but it's far improved from previous patches. Good work!
Oh, and I always like good midfield battles. Though still lacking for me, this patch does wonders in this area compared to before. I may be a bit picky, but overall quite satisfied!
